Lichfield District Council Recycling & Garden Waste Data Released

We are delighted to announce that the collection data for the Lichfield District Council area is now available on the GreenBoxDay system. Lichfield District Council operates a weekly collection of green boxes for glass, paper, cans and plastic. In addition there are alternate weekly collection for black wheeled bins (non recyclable material) and brown wheeled bins for garden waste including kitchen scraps.

People registering with GreenBoxDay.co.uk in the Lichfield District Council area can request a weekly email reminding them which wheeled bin to put alongside their green recycling boxes. Users can choose to receive email 3, 2, or 1 days in advance or on the day of their recycling collection.

Lichfield District Council covers the areas of Lichfield, Tamworth, Rugeley and Burntwood in the West Midlands, and at present recycles nearly half of the waste it generates.
