Powys Council Stages Recycling and Refuse Roadshows
A series of roadshows are being organised by Powys Council to inform residents about the new weekly food and recycling services to be introduced in 2010.
The overhaul of the county's refuse service is part of a major initiative it is hoped will reduce the amount of rubbish consigned to landfill.

The weekly paper, glass, cans, textile, plastic bottles and food collections together with fortnightly wheeled bin collections for non-recyclable material aims to take the county's recycling rate to 70%.
