Recycling advisors visiting Shropshire homes
Thousands of homes across Shropshire are to be visited by recycling specialists from this week. They will knock on more than 48,000 doors in the north Shropshire, Bridgnorth and Oswestry areas to advise about what materials can be recycled.
The latest figures show that almost of 35% of household waste in the Shropshire County Council area was either recycled or composted between April 2005 and March 2006.
