Would you like to find out more about waste, recycling and composting, and about your local waste services?
The Shropshire Waste Partnership has organised a series of events across Shropshire where you will be able to find more about:
- Your local waste and recycling services, including planned improvements.
- Home composting, and how to become a Master Composter.
- How to recycle household waste, and why.
- How to reduce food waste, and save money as a result.
- Waste education for schools and youth groups, and
- Anything else you’d like to know about waste and recycling.
You can catchup with the roadshow from 5pm to 8pm on the at the following locations and on the following dates:
- Monday 15 September - Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury
- Wednesday 24 September - Oswestry Memorial Hall, Smithfield Street
- Thursday 2 October - Bridgnorth Community Hall, Severn Street
- Tuesday 7 October - Ludlow College, Castle Square
- Thursday 9 October - Whitchurch Civic Centre, High Street
- Tuesday 14 October - Festival Drayton Centre, Market Drayton
Members of staff from the Shropshire Waste Partnership and Veolia Environmental Services will be available to provide information and answer any questions from 5.00pm, and at 7.00pm there will also be a presentation plus question and answer session about waste and recycling in Shropshire.
