Telford & Wrekin Recycling & Refuse Collection Data Released
We are delighted to announce that the recycling and refuse collection data for Telford & Wrekin Council has now been released. Residents can now register to receive free weekly email reminders which inform them which bins and boxes to put out and when.
Users simply need to supply their postcode, their collection calendar (e.g. Tuesday week 1), an email address and select how many days before the collection they would like their reminder to be sent. GreenBoxDay.co.uk will then send reminders before each collection so the correct boxes and bins can be put out.
The reminders currently contain a list of what materials go in each box or bin and it is planned to expand this content to included recycling information, news and tips.
Councillor Miles Hosken (Telford & Wrekin Council's Environment Cabinet Member) welcomed the new service. He said: "This is a fabulous new service which I hope everyone in Telford and Wrekin will sign up to. It is free of charge and in return you will receive weekly prompts of when and what to put out for collection."
Further information on recycling and refuse collections in the Telford area (including Wellington, Newport & Ironbridge) can be found at Telford & Wrekin Council's website
GreenBoxDay also supply recycling reminders in the Edinburgh, Shrewsbury, Lichfield and Cannock Chase areas and councils interested in supplying their collection data to GreenBoxDay can contact councils@greenboxday.com - or register at www.greenboxday.co.uk.
