Warwick District Council Recycling Collection Data on GreenBoxDay
We are delighted to announce that the collection data for the Warwick District Council area is now available on the GreenBoxDay system. Warwick District Council operates a fortnightly recycling collection using red boxes and bags for paper, glass, cans, card/cardboard, plastic bottles and lots more and using green bins for garden and food waste. In addition there is an alternate week collection for grey wheeled bins for non recyclable material.
People registering with GreenBoxDay.co.uk in the Warwick District Council area can request a weekly email reminding them which wheeled bin to put alongside their green recycling boxes. Users can choose to receive email 3, 2, or 1 days in advance or on the day of their recycling collection.
Warwick District Council have created the Green Gang which is an area for younger recyclers with games and activities related to recycling - there is also an online comic which children can download. Click here to see the Green Gang pages.
Warwick District Council covers the areas of warwick, Leamington Spa, and Kenilworth in the West Midlands and currently has a recycling rate of just under 53% - one of the top twenty performing councils in the UK.
