Work on Oswestry recycling facility starts

Work has started on a new recycling facility in Oswestry, Shropshire costing nearly £3million It is hoped that the facility for at Mile Oak Industrial Estate could be ready by May 2009.

Shropshire Waste Partnership said would effectively replace the existing centre at Maesbury Road with the more up-to-date one. It said the scheme would allow people in the Oswestry area to recycle more of the goods than they do at the moment.
