Q: I have not received any reminder emails from GreenBoxDay. Why?

A: Assuming we have recycling and rubbish collection data for your area, the main reasons for non receipt of emails is that they find their way into your Junk Email folder or are classified as spam by your email provider.

In Microsoft Outlook you can right click on the email - select 'Junk Email' then click "Add Sender to Safe Senders List". If you email provider is classifying our emails as spam - add email@greenboxday.co.uk to your allowed list (or whitelist) - you email provider should be able to give you details of how to do this.

Q: How do I change my postcode in my profile?

A: To change your postcode simply click login - enter your email address and password. Once logged in search for your new postcode - then simply click the link "Click Here to Change Your Registered Postcode". You will then need to click "Edit Profile" to choose when you want to be reminded about collections for your new postcode.

Q: I need a replacement recycling box or wheeled bin. What do I do?

A: GreenBoxDay merely provide recycling reminder emails and texts based on data supplied by your local council. If you need a replacement bin or box you should contact your local council directly.

Look for goods with less packaging or packaging which is easily recycled and avoiding plastic packaging where possible.
